Richmond Market

The Richmond real estate market is in Spring mode; houses are selling in a matter of a week or so, if they are priced correctly and in good condition.

We are seeing a few homes, particularly for sale by owner homes, being priced way over market and in relatively poor condition. As of a matter of fact, one of my neighbors is trying to sell his home. He is about 35k over market and the house needs a roof, gutters, an exterior paint job….and I can only imagine that the interior is a mess too! The market has tempered enough that I am confident he will NOT be getting his asking price, not by a long shot.

I hope everyone is enjoying the spring season and is able to find the time to spend some quality time outdoors.
